2Gal's debut production, Words Without Consent, premiered in 2021 at Brighton Fringe and was back this year at Edinburgh Fringe. Using the exact words spoken by both prominent figures and every day women, Words Without Consent tells two stories: an increasingly out of control political debate and two gals getting ready to go out (like, out out.) Satirising both well known political faux-pas’ and those that have been swept under the rug, 2Gal invites the audience to laugh at the ridiculous state of the current political landscape. But whilst a Bojo meme is well worth a share, should we be asking more from our leaders?
As theatres closed their doors 2Gal turned to the world of film to bring you On Wednesdays We Drink Gin. This computer screen short film follows one woman's day from the bedroom to the boardroom revealing the reality of the female experience.
