Our History
2Gal Theatre Company was founded in 2020 to create theatre that puts female voices at the centre of every story. Since forming, our debut production, Words Without Consent, has featured at Brighton's FemFest twice and have performed at Brighton and Camden Fringes and were selected for Southwark Playhouse's SWK Fest in the summer of 2021.
We are committed to providing female identifying creatives opportunities to make the work they want to see and welcome unsolicited collaboration requests. Our Team

2Gal are currently entirely self-funded by the co-founders. We are firm believers in professional pay for professional work, but with limited financial resources, we are unable to reach our goal of paying our talented collaborators what they deserve. We want to continue to offer opportunities to female creatives to make the work they want to see, but we need your help. Please contribute what you can or tell your friends, family and work colleagues (or that millionaire neighbour if you have one!) Whatever you can do to help us on our journey to spreading the good word of feminist theatre will be hugely appreciated.
